Our Mission
Viksit Bharat Foundation is committed to building a Clean, Green, Healthy and Sustainable Uttar Pradesh through its flagship initiative “Swachh Uttar Pradesh Mission.” The mission is designed to create sustainable and scientific solutions for Solid Waste Management, Waste Segregation, Material Recovery, Recycling, Sanitation, Environmental Protection and Community Awareness across urban and rural areas of Uttar Pradesh. Under this initiative, Viksit Bharat Foundation aims to work in collaboration with Government Departments, Nagar Nigams, Nagar Palika Parishads, Nagar Panchayats, Gram Panchayats, Corporate Houses, CSR Foundations, NGOs and local communities to establish and strengthen modern waste-management infrastructure. The Foundation believes that effective waste management is not merely a cleanliness activity, but an important step towards creating healthier communities, protecting the environment and generating sustainable social impact. Through the Swachh Uttar Pradesh Mission, Viksit Bharat Foundation seeks to promote source-level waste segregation, door-to-door collection, scientific processing, recycling, composting, material recovery and responsible disposal of waste. Along with infrastructure development, the mission will focus strongly on public participation, behavioural change, awareness campaigns and community ownership, ensuring that cleanliness becomes a sustainable habit rather than a one-time activity. The Foundation also welcomes CSR partnerships and institutional collaborations for the development of waste-processing and sanitation infrastructure in different districts of Uttar Pradesh. CSR partners can join the mission by supporting Waste Management Centres, Material Recovery Facilities, Composting Units, Sanitation Projects, Awareness Campaigns and other environment-focused initiatives.
